S.O.S. Hunt

It's been a while since I released something from my own store,
evenI had almost forgotten about the fact : I have a store!
I blame on Summer for this. I don't really like Summer because
it's too hot, too humid, and I get too much work and no holidays.
Summer takes all of my energy away.

But it's getting cooler day by day. Here comes September,
beginning of Autumn. Maybe my drive for releasing new items
will come back in soon (or later).
For now, let's say bye bye to Summer and welcome to Autumn.

InnerWorld Magazine : Issue 21

New issue of InnerWorld Magazine has been out.
The special article for this issue is "Golden Economy", it's about
how has the SL economy affected on our fashion lately.
You would be able to read it with interest even if you were not
really good at maths, numbers and economics. (Believe me,
I'm hopeless at maths and economics but really liked this article.)

Many times I've heard complaints about too many freebies,
hunts, lucky boards, bargain sales and kind of stuff on all over the grid.
There're lots of people who want to do serious business in SL. And
to those who want business, too many freebies and bargains may
reduce the size of their business area, and sure it decreases the
numbers of customers.

So I'm not sure if we can just welcome the golden economy in SL
and those bargain prices. As a customer and also as a shop owner,
I've been thinking about what is "proper" price in this virtual world
for long.
I'm still thinking about it though. To me, doing business is not just
making money in both SL and RL. If there were a way to business for
providing fun, joy and happiness (as much as those freebies,
hunts and bargains can provide), that would be the best.

Another one of my favorites is SL stories. The both story and
images were perfectly done. Brilliant. It's just brilliant.

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N (items no.6 - no.10 in 10)

Pants layer with a pair of prim legs. Slim with a straight leg,
dark distressed. Low-rise. This is the first pair of Jeans
from my store. Not sure whether I can have Jeans in store
or not but I learnt that It's hard just to draw denim texture.

Simple, knee-length relaxed fit shorts in earthy colors.
Each package contains a pants layer, and prim parts for
both upper legs. I'm not sure what is relaxed-fit style though,
they are my favorite. Not too tight, not too loose. Just relaxing.

Including a pants layer and roll-up prims. Red one has
yellow, the blue one has green piping. I'm planning
to have variations of this shorts in store (if I could find
a motive left in somewhere).

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N Packing List HUD

Okay pulling myself together.. here's the collection I've got for
Project RandoMuseum.
I'll have one random vendor to sell these variety of Men's
summer clothes. And that means you cannot chose which one
to buy. Instead, they are all transferable(mod, trans, no copy)

I created these penguin artwork from my RL holiday photo
which was taken at an aquarium. I could enjoy to watch
penguins and their happy feet all day.

Here's another one of my favorite animals. Polar Bear!
This playful, curious white bear is officially my latest
animal crush. I like their cool serious face too.

This artwork is also created from my RL photo. I took it from
the 40th floor in a building located in the heart of Tokyo.
The tower in orange and white is kind of symbol of this city.

I simply respect all creators who draw floral patterns. I myself
was fed up with drawing after 3 types of blossoms have done.
Anyways, I like wearing big flower patterns in summer to
make believe that I'm in a tropical island.

Including 2 pairs of briefs (navy and black, underpants layer)
and a pair of swim shorts (pants layer with prim parts).
The shorts have prim parts on each upper legs, anchor and
ship wheel embroidery are on the left leg.

G'day,

I'm participating in an event called "RandoMuseum".
It is a shopping event, showcases Japanese creators and
their 37 stores through a collection of random vendors.

The event is well-planned, well-organized by the talented
couple from Picnic, and the beautiful museum-like venue
was built by the creator of NODe+.

Mark the date, doors will be opened in soon.

Project RandoMuseum : 25th June - 24th July
The venue and SLURL for Project RandoMuseum
will be announced on the opening day.

I like this poster very much. The design and admirable
names encourage me A LOT.

But there is one mystery I have to solve later on, I've been
wondering why they chose the word "Readymade"
for the ad copy.

As you can see the lineup, there are some best creators
in SL, our favorite stores as well, and the most of their
items are created exclusively for this event.

It's gonna be a fresh, unique event much much more
than the impression the word gives us. So I think they
could have written the ad copy more like…hm,
"WELL MADE, JAPAN MADE".

Although, it's true that we are now Ready-to-Make some
goodies in SL. Our depression is slowly lifted after
100 days, and it's just perfect time for us to meet with
other Japanese creators and have some fun.

InnerWorld Magazine : Issue 20

Have you read the latest issue of InnerWorld Magazine?

…Okay maybe I'm late to write about this as it's been released
almost 2 weeks ago.

The main article of this issue 20 is "Body Language".
AOs, poses, gestures, dance moves… such as animations (and
smart scripts) definitely makes our avatar lives rich and fun.

I've been creating static poses and short animations for
photo shoots since very early days of my life on grid.
However, I took more than a year and half to get interested
in installing AOs.

Why? Well, because I was worrying to be "rude" by moving arms
or head too much while people talking/chatting to me.
Not sure if every residents from my country think that way though,
it came from my nature.

It's interesting to see what kind of AOs and gestures do people have.
Those animations tells me a lot about the person, just like body
languages in RL.

The main article leads us interviews with some of best animation
creators in SL, and as usual, I liked reading stories and secrets
from creators' backroom.

I'm really sorry about it, just couldn't find enough time to finish it.

It's been 3 months since the massive earthquake hit the northern
part of my country.
Soon after that, some of co-workers formed a charity party and
I've been spending most of my spare time for working with them.

Had a hectic time first but now I'm getting used to manage
everything. Also I'm slowly coming back to SL.

There were lots of charity events have been held in RL and also
in SL too. Like I've been working for the party which has their
base in US, I know many people hold out their helping hands
from overseas.

Time flies.
The 2nd anniversary Issue of InnerWorld Magazine was released,
that means… it's been a year since I created my first gift for them.
Wow, time really flies.

This issue19 features "Image", a big theme for all of us SL users.
We care about the spec of graphic cards to see the world more better
and faster, care about where is the best place to take snapshots.
Indeed Image is everything.
Personally I liked the interview with Kirstenlee Cinquetti, the creator of
Kirsten's Viewer, even though I've never used third party viewer.

Simply it was because I wanted to send flowers to the team,
specially to Ananda (Editor in Chief) and There (Art Director).

At first I was taken by their unique and positive way to see this

Hi there. I'm very pleased to announce this,

I've got new place, new build and new items.

I meant to reopen my shop in the end of 2010 or at least
in the beginning of this year though. It took so long since
I was busy to do nothing.

Participating in an shopping event called "one eleven" which has
just opened today. The concept is "a real department-store
experience in SL", offering limited edition items.

"Each item will have a maximum of 111 copies for sale.
Once they have sold out, they will not be restocked."
Sounds exciting yeah? And what I was impressed was the lots of
rules the organizer group gave me.
They said I have to create something new and exclusive,
which means "not similar to something you already have. And the
designs for one eleven items will not be used after this event
(including recolors)". I like participating in such challenging events
like this, specially when I can see the organizers are really serious
to create new fun and pleasure.

Like ladies' skin, hair and shoes, some items may call a scramble

One of my favorite event in SL, Designers United is back!
I've been very much looking forward to seeing their
wonderful collections again. And what is more, I'm in
this event as one of designers too. Nothing would give me
greater pleasure (and some kind of pressure) than this!

This time, Narcissus (from Greek mythology and the flower)
was chosen as its theme. I actually voted for it to be chosen
though, had no idea how to represent Narcissus with cloths.
I'd like to thank InnerWorld Magazine team who have featured
"Vanity" on their latest issue. Their brilliant special-column
gave me some inspiration.
Also I thank my mentor for giving me great laughs with a
wonderful advice about Narcissus's clothing.
(Sorry that I couldn't accept your great advice ; MAKE A
GORGEOUS NAPPY since I've been trying/creating things to
represent my real closet in SL. I agree with your image, though.
Narcissus is wearing something like a gorgeous cloth diaper
in my head too.)

and instantly fell in love with their great work. this is the first
magazine which forced me to read all of columns and opinions

again presenting a special event which is called "My Bloody
Valentine". this time they raise money for helping Haitians.

as same as they did at Zombiefest, 100% of all proceeds go to
International Red Cross. thus you can donate while you are having
fun at shopping, dancing and tipping DJs.
you also can meet the sexy zombie-strippers or adorable zombie

i actually had a bad year-end. i was deadly busy for work,
got an injury on my elbow... there were too many troubles.
however, i think i could start 2010 off in a very good mood
with family, friend and plenty of alcohol.

so this is a year of Tiger. i have drown many tigers for creating
greeting cards as my RL job and for personal use (in Japan,
new year postcards are much more popular than

let me start this post with a couple of news.
firstly, i've got "now on!" links in the right menu for you to see
which event(s) i'm currently participating in. each link leads

theft. if you haven't heard about them nor their campaign, you can

personally, i don't ask you to boycott uploading. instead, i want
you to remember that all of residents in SL can be creators. and
i'm the one who see and love your blog posts, your snapshots,
your "LOTD" as your very original/unique "creation".

contents and content thieves. don't let them disgrace your
creation and creativity.

Invite Only hunt has just begun, it's been planned and organized
by Gabbe Bookmite. since i'm tired of my very conservative taste,
i admire his vivid/adventurous sense of fashion. so when i was
invited to his hunt, decided to create something very new

BALACLAVA!! winterwhite outfit for Invite Only Hunt
includes sweater w/sculpty sleeves + a pair of pants.
you need a clue? then ask one of the blue birds.

...though.
well, you can see my try on this outfit. there was Designers
United II which helped me to use black, and i chose opposite
color white here. same as black, i rarely use plain white.
so that was my challenge, even though it looks very neutral.
however it's the fact that white is easy to wear, easy to mix and
match with other colors just like you see black.
and people (specially guys) don't really have white pair of
pants so it will be a good opportunity to have one.

(for unisex), or one blue + one pink (for male and for female).

Black Market Halloween Hunt

pumpkin's everywhere. that color helps me to remind my very
cheeky brother in law, who now lives on pumpkin.
he almost died of IMHA ( Immune- Mediated Hemplytic Anemia)
in last year, but now in the best of health.
pumpkin is such a magical vegetable.

anyways. this year, i hid my pumpkin in Black Market.

Black Market Halloween Hunt starts midnight on the 31st
(and it will end when someone thought of the end).
usually we shop owners only have stuff along the pirate/gypsy
theme in this sim, but for halloween we can have anything for
prizes. i created seasonal beanies for guys.

my prize includes 3 beanies in halloween color, which are
orange, purple and black (charcoal), and another 3 with
brown short hair. they are all mod/copy, no transfer, no script.
i created them in very average (or may be bit smaller than
average) size for guys.

this hunt is a trivia hunt. find a pumpkin first, the click on it
to get a trivia quiz about halloween. even you couldn't chose
correct answer, you can challenge to same quiz again and again.

this package includes
- jacket (a jacket layer with attachments)
- shaping shirt (a shirt layer)
- trousers (a pants layer with a sock layer)
- top hat

the jacket has attachments for spine (knit collar), for both fore arms
(cuffs), left pec (body) and for both shoulders (epaulette).
the shaping shirt is an option, it can make the jacket look puffy and
warm. it's moddable, please mod it to make your best silhouette.
i made a sock layer for wearing with the trousers but actually
it's not a sock. it shows up inside of the trousers' hem just like a lining.
about the top hat, i made S, M and L sizes. also you can see X
as the 4th, it's an accessory mini hat.

they are all in black though, those blacks are slightly different
each other. the jacket has darker black, the pair of trousers are more
lighter. also i draw them with different textures. even if you wear as
an outfit, it doesn't look too flat. of course these items are very easy
to mix and match with your wardrobes.

this outfit was made for Designers United II, and available only on
here on Cupcake sim.

Designers United II

i was really impressed by the previous Designers United event.
it was a fashion event, and was a place to shop but i saw it
was more like a group exhibition by bunch of talented creators.
to me, even just the name is enough to get excited.
"Designers United".
sounds like another issue of Marvel Universe.
i'm very honored to partake in this event, with those bunch of
super heroines and heroes. and was thrilled when i first saw
the awesome poster. jeez look i'm on Charles Xavier's position!!

the event has secretly started with voting to choose a theme,
and "crow" was chosen. crow the black bird, you know.

honestly i've been trying not to use black for making stuff
since i started my own shop. either i didn't want to draw a crow,
because i've already drawn enough of birds including parrots
and crows for making tees in the last couple of months.
these reason made me feel like "it's gonna be difficult...mmm"
but tough challenges always bring big fun.
i enjoyed to spread my imagination and made this outfit.

Make Him Over Hunt - 2nd edition

so the another MHO hunt has just began!

the previous Make Him Over Hunt made a huge success as the
biggest grid wide hunt for men, but seems like this 2nd edition is
much bigger than before. there are 174 shops to go and search,
that means we need to visit 5.8 shops per day to finish, even though
we have a whole month for hunting.
that makes me feel like... going on a pilgrimage or something.
if i didn't give up and found every single prizes in 174 shops, then
i would be able to see the nirvana.
at least i will be able to see Havana.

these days i have been working mostly offline, to create some
new stuff. they are all new, but none of them will be sold at my
own store. well i actually have to renovate my store and also
have to have new releases for welcoming winter though...

well i had to write about this, a few days ago i closed BALAClab!? #002.
i wanna say thank you to all of guests who visited the place.

seems i'll get another 2 hunts to participate at the same time in the end
of this year, maybe around Christmas so the 3rd will be opened in
the end of this year or the beginning of the next year.
when i get new stuff and new build, send notice to AAA guests and

from September the 1st to the 4th, the lab is going to be opened
only for some AAA guests. they are who have requested to be on my
guest list during the time i had the 1st lab opened 2 months ago.

people who sent invitation request with 2 of secret codes from

after the pre-opening, from the 5th to 14th.

another cool shopping place opened today, which is called Black Market.
there are a big pirates' ship, a dock, a pier, shadows of ghosts,
signs of gypsies ...and many shops in stalls and tents.

what a wonderful surprise, this market help me to check all of those cool
labels at the same time. also they have exclusives, discounted items
and their stocks will be changed in every 2 or 3 weeks!
well since the most of them have only girls' stuff, i may not be able to
their good customer though. even so, i'm very excited to see their great
works and stuff. i love this place's atmosphere, very much.

BALACLAVA!! was also invited to this place ( it's a great honor to be
one of the crew!). i will enjoy creating new and exclusive line only
for this Black Market branch.
my stuff will be men's casual cloths as always, but i'm thinking of adding
some pirates/gypsy motifs and organic colors on them. to make them
look well matched with the themed market, i will sell some of my stuff
as outfits.
each outfit looks like Smee! or gentle Starkey in Captain Hook's ship
but you can wear them separately, easily mix up with your own
wardrobes for making daily and comfy looks.

Starlust's 2nd Annual Panty Raid

though i've never called my underwear as panty, you may do.
this is my first Panty Raid to participate. it's a hunt, what you need
to do is　hunting golden clams in Starlust sims (there are 10 sims).
this event will be held until the end of this month, and you can
start from anywhere in Starlust empire.

i have one clam which has already hid. my prizes are...

this "bum!" underwear and the scarf. (in this photo, i wore it on
backward because i'm a PG guy. never ever show my nipples in
public blog) the golden clams are little bit small to search,
like compare to the skipping stones so here is a hint.

my clam is on Bill, aka A la mode,
and in almost in my branch. almost.
he's mimicking something in gold-ish color.

actually i have demo undiebox in the branch. so get it with the clam.

well well, now i'm partaking in 2 hunts. Skipping Stones Hunt and

Skipping Stones Hunt

i've been invited to Skipping Stones Hunt which features the indie/bohemian/
vitage/arty part of Second Life. honestly I had to wonder where my stuff
categorized in, but the theme, "lazy days of late summer" convinced me of the
reason. yeah i'm kinda pro of being lazy.

Skipping Stones Hunt starts on the 10th of August, will ends on the 24th.
you can see some sneak peak posters and ads in hunt group pool on Flickr,
the whole store lineups is on skipping stones hunt blog.

this is a chain-style hunt, so you start from Kunstkammer Architechtural and
Meraphysical Salvage, find their prize with the 2nd participator's LM,
teleport there, find their prize with 3rd participator's LM... continue to the
the end. there are 61 stores to visit.

my store is counted as no.28, here's my prize for this hunt.

traveller T / sage + sandypants / cork

the 3/4 length sandypants package includes 2 types of attachments.
a pair of them is for wearing as straight, simple cork color pants, and
another pair for wearing with rolled up style.

rolled-up attachments are scripted, change colors and patterns.
probably they are both easy to mix up with your own wardrobe. and if you
like to wear them in another color, check out on-sale version in my store.

also i'm partaking Starlust's annual Panty Raid which will be held during

i've got new branch in Starlust A La Mode on Bill.

wanted to decorate this place nicely but i couldn't hit upon any good ideas.
so i just put some shelfs in "under construction/renovation" style.
i'll renovate it when i get some good plan for decor.

since i have the lab until the 2nd in July, won't do anything special for this
opening of new branch. however, both mainstore and Car Wash branch are
still partaking hunt events each, so i will have new releases only on this new
branch for a while.

this scripted posing stand moves your camera view to the set position automatically.
means regardless you stand on the hunter side or the game side, you can take
snapshots from the exactly same position. so it's easy for you, or you and your alt,
or you and your friend in different time zone to be photographed in a same picture.

the content tab to use. i made a corridor with this. it's just fan to walk on this,
